Why is my ET curve empty or showing no data?
If the ET curve page shows "No data available" or is completely empty, check these requirements one by one:
1. Building must be selected.
Use the building dropdown at the top of the Analytics page. The ET curve is per-building — no building selected means no chart.
2. Building must have total area (BRA) set.
The Y-axis is kWh/m² — without a known area, the system cannot normalize consumption. If you see "Building area required", go to Buildings → select building → Settings/Details and enter the total_area (BRA) in m².
3. Energy meters must exist for the building.
The ET curve only uses energy-type meters: electricity, gas, heating, cooling, district heating, district cooling, solar, and fuel oil. Water and waste meters are excluded. Check Buildings → select building → Meters tab.
4. Meters must have consumption data in the selected period.
Choose a period (6M, 12M, or 24M) that overlaps with your available meter readings. If your data import started recently, try the 6M view first.
5. Weather data must be available.
The system fetches outdoor temperature from a weather service based on your building's location. If the building has no address/coordinates set, or the weather API returns no data, no dots can be plotted.
6. At least one meter must be selected in the meter selector.
Below the controls bar, the meter chips must be highlighted (cyan). If all are deselected, no data is shown. Click "Building level" or "All" to re-select.

- Building selected in dropdown
- Building has total_area > 0
- At least one energy meter exists and is active
- Meter has readings in the selected time range
- Building has a valid address for weather lookup
- At least one meter chip is selected
