How do I connect Landis+Gyr, Sensus, or smart grid meters to Inbilit?

Landis+Gyr, Sensus (Xylem), and other smart meter manufacturers are widely deployed by utility companies. Connecting their data to Inbilit depends on how the readings are made available to you.

Landis+Gyr (E360, E450, Gridstream)

Landis+Gyr smart meters typically communicate through the utility company's AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure):

1. Contact your electricity or district heating provider and ask for access to your meter data via their customer portal or API
2. Many utilities use Landis+Gyr Gridstream AIM — ask if they offer a customer-facing API
3. Download CSV exports from the utility portal and use File Upload, or use REST API if an API is available
4. In Nordic countries, check if your data is available via Elhub (Norway), Datahub (Denmark), or your grid operator

Sensus (Xylem)

Sensus meters are common for water metering:

1. Contact your water utility for portal access or API credentials
2. Download consumption data as CSV from the utility portal
3. In Inbilit, use File Upload or Email Import

Grid operator portals (Elhub, Datahub, etc.)

In many countries, your meter data is available through a central hub:

• Norway: Elhub (elhub.no) — request third-party access via your grid operator
• Denmark: Datahub (energinet.dk) — access via eloverblik.dk
• Sweden: Your grid operator (elnätsföretag) typically provides a customer portal
• Finland: Fingrid Datahub — request access through your electricity retailer

What to ask your utility provider: "I need access to my building's hourly meter readings. Can you provide API access, CSV exports, or third-party authorization through Elhub/Datahub?"

Important: Smart grid meters are owned by the utility company, not by you. You have a right to your consumption data, but the access method is controlled by the utility. Start by contacting their customer service.
