How do I change the currency, units, and time settings for my account?

Your display preferences — currency, measurement units, timezone, and date format — are configured in Settings → Localization. These settings apply to your entire account and affect how data is displayed across the platform.

What you can configure

  1. Language: Choose from 13 languages including English, Norsk, Deutsch, Français, Svenska, Dansk, and more. The entire interface translates to your chosen language.

  2. Timezone: Select your local timezone (e.g., Oslo CET, London GMT, Helsinki EET). This controls how timestamps are displayed in dashboards, reports, and invoices.

  3. Date format: Choose how dates appear — DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD, or DD.MM.YYYY.

  4. Number format: US style (1,000.50) or EU style (1.000,50) — controls decimal separators and thousands grouping.

  5. Currency: Select your preferred currency (NOK, EUR, SEK, DKK, USD, GBP, PLN, or CHF). This controls how monetary amounts are formatted in the interface.

  6. Unit preferences:

    • Energy: kWh (default) or MWh
    • Volume: m³ (default), liters, US gallons, or UK gallons
    • Temperature: Celsius (default) or Fahrenheit
    • Area: m² (default) or sqft

How to save: After making changes, click the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of the Localization section. A green confirmation message appears when saved successfully.

Important: These are display preferences only. They control how the interface shows data to you. They do not convert or modify any stored data. For example, changing the energy unit from kWh to MWh reformats the display but does not alter the underlying readings.

Where to configure: Settings → Localization tab (the globe icon in the sidebar settings).
