How do I use the Reports overview to see my building's performance?

The Reports overview page gives you a high-level snapshot of your buildings' energy and water performance for a selected time period.

What the overview shows

  1. Power Usage card: Total electricity consumption (kWh) for the selected period, with a trend indicator showing whether usage went up or down compared to the previous period. A green arrow means consumption decreased; a red arrow means it increased.

  2. Water Usage card: Total water consumption (m³) with the same trend comparison.

  3. Energy Consumption Distribution chart: A donut chart breaking down total energy consumption by type — Electricity (amber), Gas (red), Heating (orange), and Cooling (cyan). Each segment shows its percentage of total kWh. This helps you see your building's energy mix at a glance.

  4. Utility Cost Breakdown grid: Cards for each utility type (electricity, gas, heating, cooling, water, waste, maintenance) showing bill count, total cost, and per-unit rates for the period.

How to filter the data

  • Building filter: Use the building dropdown in the tab bar to select a specific building or "All Buildings" for a portfolio view.
  • Period filter: Choose from Week, Month, Quarter, Year-to-Date, Year, or Custom date range.

If the overview shows "No Data for Selected Period"

  • Try selecting a different time period that has uploaded invoices or meter data
  • If you are a new user, the welcome screen guides you to create a building and upload bills first

Where to find it: Reports → Overview tab (the default landing page).
