How do I compare multiple buildings using the Portfolio Report?

The Portfolio Report page lets you analyze and compare performance across multiple buildings in your portfolio. It is designed for property managers who oversee several properties and need a consolidated view.

How to use it

  1. Select a template: Choose from 6 portfolio-specific templates:

    • Energy Performance — energy consumption and intensity metrics
    • Sustainability — CO₂ emissions and environmental impact
    • Financial Summary — costs and revenue across buildings
    • Custom — pick your own modules
    • Executive Dashboard — high-level KPIs for stakeholders
    • Cash Flow — income and expense overview
  2. Select buildings: Check the buildings you want to include. You can compare 2, 5, or all of your buildings.

  3. Set the date range: Use presets (Last 30 Days, Last Month, Q1-Q4, Year-to-Date, Last Year) or enter custom dates.

  4. View the dashboard: The report generates sections including:

    • Key metrics summary (building count, net income, total energy, CO₂)
    • Utility costs breakdown by type
    • Energy consumption by building (bar chart)
    • Year-over-year energy comparison
    • Water consumption analysis
    • Building comparison by intensity (kWh/m²)
    • Building cost comparison
    • Occupancy and tenant analysis
    • Space distribution (rented, common, vacant)

Why Portfolio Report vs regular reports?

Regular reports focus on one building at a time. The Portfolio Report is specifically designed for cross-building comparison — showing side-by-side metrics, ranking buildings by efficiency, and identifying outliers.
